From Ice Cream Empire to iPod Innovation

Ben & Jerry, Hania Rani, Travis Rice & Tony Fadell

Hi people!

If you have been here before scroll down to the main stuff. ⬇️

First time here read the following.

You might be wondering, why I’m curating these podcasts for you? I’ve always enjoyed reading magazines with interviews. Artists, musicians, businessmen, you name it. Those interviews were good, usually short, but filled with depth and insight. However it felt like there is always much more to be said. We all have a story to tell. Humans are exceptional and exciting creatures. Podcasts offer a treasure trove of stories and insights that I believe you’ll find enriching. The difference between reading and listening is quite significant. In a conversation you can actually feel the vibe, energy of two people interacting with each other.

Podcasts I’ve selected for you, deeply resonate with me. I feel a strong desire to introduce you to certain figures and voices that may connect with something or someone you’ve been subconsciously or consciously searching for. My journey with podcasts has opened many new roads in my mind, and I’m thrilled to walk those paths. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!

Main stuff: This is what I have for you this week:

Category: Business

  1. For ice cream lovers! An hour long story of friendship, business and obviously ice creams, Ben&Jerry 🍨 Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield talk to Guy Raz.

Category: Music

  1. Hania Rani is a talented pianist and composer. I discovered her music during one of those “scrolling through YouTube” sessions, and since then, her songs have been permanently added to my playlist (as long as I can afford Spotify! 😄) Her music is pure magic, and I strongly recommend her album Esja, particularly the track “Glass ” 🎧

This podcast is a monologue—a profile of Hania Rani—woven together with quick stories shared by her family and friends. As a Pole, I couldn’t be prouder! Such a small country, yet so many incredible talents!

Category: Inspiration/ sport - snowboarding

  1. This podcast is for snowboarding fans! is one of the G.O.A.T.s (Greatest of All Time) in the sport. I’ve given him this title for several reasons. Hi is good, and I mean it. He has popularized snowboarding like no one else, thanks to his groundbreaking film productions, with “The Art of Flight” being the first. Additionally, Travis established the Natural Selection Tour, a unique blend of free riding and freestyle events where some of the best riders in the world compete against each other in steep and deep snow. This podcast is 5 hours long, so you can choose how you want to consume it: as one big bite or in a few smaller chunks. It’s entirely up to you!

Category: books/technology

  1. Let’s talk like engineers! If you’ve ever owned an iPod, you can thank this guy: Tony Fadell. He is the mastermind behind the iPod and the Nest thermostat—(the first attractive and functional thermostat I’ve ever seen!)A host, Lex Fridman is not only a talented podcaster but also an engineer. Therefore, this conversation definitely has an engineering vibe. Its all about love to build!

Tony’s book is all about it. Amazing, one of the best if not the best I’ve read in 2023.

A heartfelt thank you to all the content creators, podcasters, and artists for your incredible work. Your contributions make these journeys possible!
